For banking app Monzo, transparency and customer service are two sides of the same coin.
‘We really think that we can build a bank that works better for people like you by involving you in its development’, Monzo says on its website, ‘by being responsive to your questions and queries through customer support, hearing your feature requests and ideas, and talking to you as we build it.’
So, inspired by companies like Buffer and Trello, the Monzo team have developed a Transparent Product Roadmap – on a public Trello board. They invite their customers to take a look and feedback on Monzo’s Customer Forum. You can vote on features in Trello and the vote counts will be a factor we take into account when deciding what to build next’.
