At Google, people engagement is as much a science as an art. What makes a team high performing? Run the numbers. Which type of recruitment process works best? Don’t guess, check the data.

As HuffPo reports, People Analytics is even put to work on making sure everything flows smoothly on campus. ‘Google knows that the optimal lunch line at the cafeteria is three to four minutes. Longer than that, and they’re wasting time. Shorter than that, and they don’t get to meet anyone new’. Are you collecting and using data to help optimise your purposeful culture?
