‘Better food… is one of the most critical issues in America today’, says Chobani Founder Hamdi Ulukaya. ‘Big companies aren’t doing it. If you don’t challenge it, it won’t change’.
Hamdi reckons the food system is broken, and the Chobani Incubator is Hamdi’s way of helping a growing network of small companies to challenge today’s food system, in the way Chobani has done for yoghurt – ‘bringing better food to more people’.
Chobani’s looking for start-up ideas and founders who are ‘doing the right thing, like-minded, inclusive, and ready to go and grow’. Successful applicants are given a kitchen in Chobani’s offices, a $25,000 grant (no equity required), mentorship, and access to Chobani’s network.
